Hey there!This photo was taken by a xiao pengyou (little friend) last fall in Sichuan Province in the house where I was living.
After touring S.W. China for two months in 2000, my next opportunity came in summer 2005 to study Mandarin in Shanghai for one year. I returned in autumn 2007 for three months; touring with my dad, indipendently, and living with good friends in their small mountain village in Tibet.
I'm back again, January '08, for a final semester of Mandarin this time at Peking University. Once school is done I'm staying in Beijing to find a job and keep exploring.

Hey Nico
It was great to talk to you last night (Aug 4th) and I think you should definetly get back to this blog. It is so much better than facebook, which Mom and I refuse to partake in. So get writing and include some of those pictures which didn't download.
